Slate Belt YMCA is proud to partner with the Pen Argyl School District to offer a high quality Before and After School Program that provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students each day. Designed to support busy families while enriching children’s daily experiences, the program includes healthy snacks, dedicated homework time, and opportunities to build meaningful connections with peers and caring staff. Through hands on activities like STEM exploration, creative arts, fitness, and collaborative play, children develop confidence, curiosity, and essential life skills. Aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards, the program supports growth across key areas including literacy, science, math and problem solving, arts, social development, fitness and nutrition, and technology, creating a fun and dynamic space where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Before & After School Care
Before and after school care includes youth programs, healthy snacks, homework time and physical activity. 6:00AM to start of school and end of school day to 6PM
All-Inclusive Care
All-Inclusive Care covers before and after school, half days, and most full days off for one monthly price.
2026/2027 Monthly Rates
We offer convenient monthly rates for before and after school child care, providing quality care at an affordable cost for your family. Financial Assistance is available.

About the Curriculum
The curriculum follows PA Early Learning Standards supporting growth and development of youth in key learning areas: Literacy, Science, Math/Problem Solving, Arts, Social Competence, and Fitness/Nutrition. This curriculum supports a unique learning environment that stimulates a child's curiosity while reinforcing essential academic standards.
