Senior Connect Open House, Introduction to App

Senior Connect Open House provides opportunities for active older adults to connect with River Crossing YMCA staff and fellow members in a welcoming, social environment. Meet new friends, connect with staff, and become part of the Senior Connect community. These casual open house events are typically held on a recurring basis and last about 90 minutes, with coffee and light refreshments served. Free to members! Stop by!

October 22-Fall Craft | Celebrate the season with a creative fall craft designed to encourage self-expression, relaxation, and social connection.
November 5-Recipe Swap | Share favorite recipes, discover new ideas, and exchange cooking inspiration with fellow Senior Hub participants. Bring a favorite recipe to share if you’d like!
November 12- Book Club – Turning Pages | Join fellow readers for a lively discussion about the selected book, sharing thoughts, favorite moments, and different perspectives.
November 19- DIY Cinnamon Orange Simmer Pot Jar | Create a festive cinnamon and orange simmer pot jar using seasonal ingredients. Learn how to enjoy a warm, inviting aroma at home while taking part in a fun, hands-on activity.
