About RCY Sports Center
Our new indoor field house transforms former outdoor courts into a fully enclosed, climate controlled space, allowing for year round play, programming, and community use. This exciting upgrade expands opportunities across all seasons, from spring programs like RCY Basketball, Basketball Academy, Volleyball, youth dodgeball, and adult leagues, to pickleball classes and private lessons. In the summer, the space will also support indoor camp activities.

Multipurpose 1
Lined for basketball and volleyball, Multi-Purpose Court 1 supports a wide range of hard court sports and activities.
Multipurpose 2
Multi-Purpose Court 2 is lined for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, and supports a wide range of hard court sports and activities.
Turf Court
Designed for versatility, the turf court accommodates soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and flag football.
Sports Complex Rentals
Our field house is available for rentals, offering a versatile, climate controlled space perfect for athletec, community programs, events and group gatherings, wellness and other specialty uses including:
- Sports Leagues and Tournaments – Basketball, volleyball, pickleball, futsal, and other team competitions
- Clinics, Camps, and Training – Skills development, sports performance, and seasonal programs
- School and Community Programs – PE classes, homeschool groups, and recreational department activities
- Private and Group Events – Birthday parties, corporate team-building, and family activity days

RCY Sports Center is located next the Doylestown YMCA and Skatepark with tons of parking available.
Frequently Asked Questions
With many of our youth sports programs moving into the Sports Center, we will be able to offer increased open gym time in the main building. The RCY Sports Center will primarily be used for scheduled programming and community rentals. Some activities held there will be included with membership, such as open play pickleball, youth dodgeball, and group exercise.
Yes, we offer rental options for community groups. Our facility consists of two multi-purpose courts and a turf field with borders and protective netting. If you are interested in renting the space, please contact Andrew Yannarella, ayannarella@ymcarivercrossing.org.
Yes, Stay & Play is available to anyone participating in a program or activity in RCY Sports Center. For more information regarding Stay & Play hours, please visit the webpage.
The RCY Sports Center will have bathrooms in the lobby area, formerly our Clubhouse building.
There will be no locker rooms in RCY Sports Center. Participants needing to utilize showers and lockers should do so in our main branch before heading down to the Sports Center.
There will be no membership fee increase when the facility opens.
Members can participate in any program or group exercise class that runs in the space.
All are welcome in RCY Sports Center.
Our programs are available for members and non members. We will also allow community organizations to utilize the facility via our rental programs.
There will be two multi-court sections and a turf area in the field house:
Multi-Purpose Court 1
Lined for basketball and volleyball, with flexibility to support a variety of other sports and activities.
Multi-Purpose Court 2
Lined for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, and can also be used for additional sports and activities.
Turf Area
Designed for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and flag football.
The majority of our youth sports programs will move to the new space. We will also use the new space to add additional play areas for our adult sports programs.
Yes. The Sports Center is accessible to individuals who use wheelchairs and people with disabilities. The facility includes ADA-compliant entrances and an accessible pathway to ensure all guests can enter and move throughout the space safely and comfortably. Accessible restrooms and parking are also available to support visitors with mobility needs.
Parking will be available in the main Doylestown YMCA parking lot. The most convenient spaces will be located in the third section of the parking lot past the Skatepark and Teen Center.
Yes, we will have a staff member present in the facility during all operating hours.
