Today is World Mental Health Day—a global reminder to care for our minds as much as our bodies and to take steps toward improving the mental well-being of ourselves and our communities. At River Crossing YMCA, we are committed to supporting the whole person—spirit, mind, and body—through programs and resources that foster resilience, connection, and wellness.

One of our key offerings is RISE, a free 12-week program designed to help individuals manage stress and strengthen overall well-being. Through self-care practices, self-compassion, and the support of a caring community, participants learn to thrive in everyday life.

But that’s just one part of our commitment. From youth mental health workshops and peer support groups to community trainings like Mental Health First Aid, the Y provides opportunities for individuals of all ages to build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and find the support they need.
